KEY INSIGHT: Nearly half of Rockbuster's total revenue and customer base comes from Asia, while the other half is distributed across Europe, North America, South America, and Africa.

Top 5 Genres by Revenue

I also analyzed the top 5 genres by revenue.

KEY INSIGHT: The top 5 genres are Sports, Sci-Fi, Animation, Drama, and Comedy.

Recommendations

  • Allocate a great amount of marketing resources to Asia since half of Rockbuster’s customers are based there and they generate almost half of all revenue.

  • Market more films within the genres that produce the most revenue.

  • For an efficient online transition, I would suggest closing the physical stores that are left and then reallocating those resources toward the online platform.

  • Develop a program that rewards top customers to increase retention.
